HANNAH VAUGHN Born: June 1, 1811 in New York; Died: July 27 1873 in Vermont while visiting relatives. Buried in Morhous Cemetery, Willsburough, Essex County, New York beside her sister, Amy Morhous. Note: Hannah and Nelson's mothers were cousins.

2. LYMAN R. DICKERMAN Born: April 6, 1831 in East Wallilngford Vt.; Died: March 12, 1844 (aged 12 yrs., 11 mo. 6 days) in Greenfield, Ill Mentally retarded from a childhood illness.

4. MAJOR WARREN DICKERMAN Born: November 2, 1834; Died: February, 1897; Buried in the Million Cemetery. Click HERE to see stone. Married 1st to Julia Button (b. April 28, 1837 in Iowa, d. October 7, 1860 at 23 years of age; Buried in the Million Cemetery; daughter of Jacob & Juleanna Johnson Button and grand-daughter of Jacob & Sarah Crandall Button who are buried in the Smith-Pratt Cemetery, Rutland County, Clarendon, Vermont). Note: Jacob Button, grandfather of Julia was the brother of Bethia Button Vaughn, grandmother of Major Warren Dickerman. They had no known children. Major Warren married second, Loretta Bush (b. April 2, 1867) on November 30, 1876 in Roodhouse, Greene County, Illinois. Click HERE to see marriage license of Major W. Dickerman and Loretta Bush Major W. & Loretta had 2 children: Nelson D. Dickerman (b. Oct, 1877) and Lenna Eunice Dickerman (b. Aug. , 1882; d. July, 1964). He served in the Civil War: Mustered in to the 91st Illinois Infantry on October 8, 1862 at Camp Butler, Illinois. He saw action at Elizabethtown, KY, Brownsville, Texas, and Mobile, Alabama. He was mustered out on July 12, 1868. After his death at 62 years of age, Loretta married James Miller and was living in St. Louis, Mo. in 1900 (from Linda McDowell).

Major W. Dickerman died without a will. Edwin A. Belknap petitioned the court on 24 Feb 1897 asking for letters of administration. The petition states that M.W.'s personal estate was worth about $500 and his real and personal property consisted chiefly of a 160 acre farm and personal property, 2 horses, 2 cows, wagon, 2 sets harness, household effect, a surry and stick wagon and rent due from farm about $275.00. The deceased left surviving him "Loritta" Dickerman, his widow, and Nelson D. Dickerman and L. Eunice Dickerman, his children.
